CLEVELAND – As part of ongoing streetscape improvements, construction will begin April 3 (weather permitting) on East 71st Street between Broadway and Harvard Avenues. This construction work zone will maintain one lane in the northbound and one lane in the southbound direction while resurfacing of the roadway and Americans with Disabilities Act Ramps are installed. Driveway access will also be maintained.

The improvements extend along a 0.64 mile section of East 71st Street from Broadway Avenue to Harvard Avenue and will include asphalt paving, base repairs, ADA compliant curb ramps; casting adjustments and new striping.

The project is scheduled for completion in June 2017.

Editor’s Note: Road construction invariably presents hazards to the public. All travelers are urged to use caution in construction zones. Public safety and the safety of workers is a top priority.
