Pipeline Infrastructure Improvements Update

Wednesday, August 14, 2019

CLEVELAND – On Friday, August 16, 2019 Dominion Energy Ohio’s gas pipeline infrastructure replacement project will begin on the following streets:

  • Franklin Boulevard – On the south side of the road from Fulton Road to a point 200 feet to the west
  • Fulton Road – From Franklin Boulevard to Circle Court
  • West 28th Street – From Franklin Boulevard to Detroit Avenue

The improvements include replacing the old steel mainline with a new plastic mainline in the sidewalk areas in advance of the City of Cleveland, Fulton Road Phase 2 Project.  A work zone will be established which will allow two-way traffic with traffic control personnel present to help direct traffic flow.  A law enforcement officer will be present at the Fulton Road and Franklin Boulevard signalized intersection.  Access to adjacent driveways will be maintained throughout construction.  All work zones will be removed at the end of each work day.  The work on the project will take place Monday through Friday from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m.

This project is scheduled for completion in September 2019.
