Resurfacing Project Traffic Advisory
Prospect Street to East 55th Street
Friday, September 14, 2018
(City of Cleveland – Wards 5 and 7)

CLEVELAND – On Sept. 14, 2018, the City will begin road improvements with the Prospect Avenue East Resurfacing Project from Prospect Street to East 55th Street.  The project will be phased to maintain one lane of traffic in each direction. Access to all abutting businesses will be maintained. Electronic message boards will be in place on either end of the project to inform travelers of impending construction work.

The Prospect Avenue Resurfacing Project extends from Prospect Street to East 55th Street and includes the following: asphalt resurfacing, base repairs, casting adjustments, spot curb repairs, installation of Americans with Disabilities Act compliant ramps and new pavement markings. The work will take place from Monday through Friday from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.

The entire project is scheduled for completion in early October 2018.  Should there be any questions, please contact the City of Cleveland Acting Chief Inspector, James Miller at 216-857-1635.

Editor’s Note: Road construction invariably presents hazards to the public. All travelers are urged to use caution in construction zones. Public safety and the safety of workers is a top priority.
