(City of Cleveland – Wards 2 and 4)

CLEVELAND – Street improvements begin on Tuesday, October 2, 2018, on Corlett Avenue from East 116th Street to East 131st Street.  The resurfacing project will be phased to maintain one-lane traffic in each direction. Access to all abutting businesses will be maintained. Electronic message boards will be in place on either end of the project informing the public of the impending construction work. Work is estimated to be complete by November 2018.

The Corlett Avenue Resurfacing Project extends from East 116th Street to East 131st Street. The improvements include asphalt resurfacing, base repairs, casting adjustments, installation of Americans with Disabilities Act compliant ramps, and new pavement markings. The work will take place Monday through Friday from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.

The project is scheduled for completion in November 2018.  Contact the City of Cleveland Acting Chief Inspector, James Miller at 216-857-1635 with questions.

Editor’s Note: Road construction invariably presents hazards to the public. All travelers are urged to use caution in construction zones. Public safety and the safety of workers is a top priority.
