(City of Cleveland – Ward 4)

CLEVELAND – On October 4, 2018, the City will begin the South Woodland Avenue Resurfacing Project from South Moreland Road to Van Aken Boulevard.  The project will be phased to allow for the maintenance of one lane of traffic in each direction. Access to all abutting businesses will be maintained. Electronic message boards will be in place on either end of the project informing the public of the impending construction work. Work is estimated to be completed by November 2018.

The South Woodland Avenue Resurfacing Project extends from South Moreland to Van Aken Boulevard. The improvements include asphalt resurfacing, base repairs, casting adjustments, installation of Americans with Disabilities Act compliant ramps, and new pavement markings. The work will take place Monday through Friday from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.

The entire project is scheduled for completion in November 2018.  Contact the City of Cleveland Acting Chief Inspector, James Miller at 216-857-1635 with questions.

Editor’s Note: Road construction invariably presents hazards to the public. All travelers are urged to use caution in construction zones. Public safety and the safety of workers is a top priority.
