Wednesday, February 28, 2018

CLEVELAND – The City of Cleveland has resolved a temporary delay to its 911 call center. Today, between 2:11 a.m. and 2:49 a.m. the call center experienced a delay in receiving service calls. The Call Center was back in service at 2:49 a.m. and is fully operational.

Emergency Call Works (ECW), an external partner, performed an upgrade and experienced an equipment failure which directly impacted the City ECW phone lines. The City has requested a full report from ECW concerning this incident and the impact to services. We apologize for the delay in call service and the incident is being investigated.
