  • East 71st Street Neighborhood Improvements- Roadwork April to June 2017

    The improvements extend along a 0.64 mile section of East 71st Street from Broadway Avenue to Harvard Avenue and will include asphalt paving, base repairs, ADA compliant curb ramps; casting adjustments and new striping.

  • City to Work With Detroit Shoreway Residents to Reduce Franklin Blvd. Speed Limit

    Due to community concerns about the speed limit on Franklin Boulevard in the Detroit Shoreway neighborhood, the City plans to support residents and City Council as they seek to reduce it to 25 miles per hour. In the meantime, in accordance with State of Ohio law, the speed limit will remain 35 miles per hour on Franklin Boulevard.

  • Issue 32 Allows for More Street Improvements in 2017

    Thanks to Mayor Frank G. Jackson’s enhanced budget, made possible by Issue 32, the City of Cleveland is embarking on more street improvement projects in 2017 than in years past. Projects span all neighborhoods and wards throughout the city.

  • Three Pipeline Infrastructure Improvements Announced

    As part of ongoing neighborhood enhancements, Dominion East Ohio pipeline infrastructure improvements are scheduled to begin soon on the East Side. Improvement begins with the replacement of old steel mainlines.  One lane of traffic will be maintained with traffic control personnel in the work zone directing traffic.  Access to adjacent driveways will be maintained. 

  • Change in Traffic Pattern on East 152nd

    A new traffic pattern along East 152nd Street between Woodworth Avenue and South Waterloo Road will be part of the ongoing road improvements and upgrades. Traffic will be moved to the east side of the roadway and two-way traffic will be maintained. We ask that motorists remain alert for lane shifts. Barrels will be used to indicate the direction of traffic. The direction change will remain in place until August 2017.

  • Cleveland Bike Plan to Add 70+ Miles of Bikeway by 2017

    A new Bikeway Implementation Plan has been designed to increase the number of bikeway miles by 250% by the end of 2017. The goal of the Citys plan is to provide cycling amenities in every neighborhood, whether for transportation or recreational use.

  • Bike Rack Service Available Downtown on East 4th

    The service comes complete with parking spaces, personal lockers, and changing/shower facilities at 2148 East 4th. Those needing more information may call 216.771.7120.

  • Several GIS Maps Display Local Information

    These maps give a better understanding of issues and trends and support awareness and better decision making. They include capital improvements, crime data, EPA regulated facilities, routing, and more.

  • Monthly Keycard Payments for City Parking Lots Can Now be Done Online

    Monthly Keycard payments can be paid online for parking at the Gateway East Garage, Lakefront Municipal Parking, and Willard Park Garage. There is a convenience fee associated.
