Chief Assistant Prosecutor
Kimberly Barnett-Mills, who serves as the City of Cleveland’s Chief Assistant Prosecutor for the Department of Law, was administered the oath of office on Thursday, June 2, 2016, by Mayor Frank G. Jackson.
In 2006, Ms. Barnett-Mills was appointed First Assistant Prosecutor in the City’s Prosecutor’s Office and has also served as Assistant Public Defender for Cuyahoga County and as an attorney with The Legal Aid Society of Cleveland. She has over 15 years of legal experience, is a graduate of Baldwin Wallace University, where she earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Criminal Justice and History and a graduate of Cleveland-Marshall School of Law, where she earned her Juris Doctorate Degree.
