New Cleveland Kennel

Mayor Frank G. Jackson; Cleveland City Council President Kevin J. Kelley; Councilmembers Matt Zone, Brian Kazy, Michael Polensek, Anthony Brancatelli and Phyllis Cleveland; supporters from Friends of the Cleveland Kennel; volunteers and residents celebrated the grand opening of the state-of-the-art City of Cleveland Kennel. The celebration included a ribbon cutting ceremony and public tours at the $7.3 million 9203 Detroit Avenue facility.

“The new City of Cleveland Kennel is only one example of the strides being taken to promote sustainable and healthy neighborhoods,” said Mayor Frank G. Jackson. “Thanks to supporters of the enhanced budget, the great efforts of our community partners and the dedicated staff and volunteers who helped see this work through, the new kennel is ready to serve the needs of animals and residents citywide.
