Pipeline Infrastructure Improvements Update

On Thursday, March 19, 2020, Dominion Energy Ohio’s gas pipeline infrastructure replacement project will begin on the following streets:

East 105th Street Rehabilitation Project Traffic Advisory

On Monday, March 16, 2020, as part of the City’s East 105th Street Rehabilitation Project, the City will begin work on East Boulevard at East 105th Street. This work will include the realignment and reconstruction of the East Boulevard approach to East 105th Street. East Boulevard will be closed to all traffic at the intersection of East 105th Street, but open to local traffic at the intersection of Wade Park Avenue. Traffic moving on East Boulevard north of Wade Park Avenue is not affected. Maintenance of traffic will be as follows:

The City of Cleveland’s annual Black History Month celebration kicks off on Saturday, Feb. 1 with a flag raising. This year’s theme, “Empowering A People: African Americans and the Right to Vote,” marks the centennial of the Nineteenth Amendment, highlights the Women’s Suffrage Movement and celebrates the African American reconnection to the Motherland. The month-long celebration honors the achievements made by African American Clevelanders in the past and present with a series of events that are free and open to the public.

Students Invited to Apply for Mayor Frank G. Jackson Scholarship Program

Mayor Frank G. Jackson Scholarship applications are available to City of Cleveland employees, dependents of City of Cleveland employees, high school seniors graduating from the Cleveland Metropolitan School District, and high school seniors who are in the Youth Development Program or involved with the City of Cleveland Department of Recreation. The scholarship application process is open until March 27.
